2. SHAKESPEARE'S QUOTES

ACTIVITY 2: (Individual) These quotes belong to Shakespeare's works. 







  • “Have more than you show, speak less than you know”, King Lear (1608)
  •   “Look like the innocent flower but be the serpent under it”,  Macbeth (1606)

  •  “To be or not to be”, Hamlet (1605)
  • "Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears; I come to bury Caesar, not to praise him", Julius Caesar (1599)


  • “It is the east, and Juliet is the sun”, Romeo and Juliet (1597)


  1. Choose one of them and interpret its meaning.
